Home Delivery

Turf Delivery in Devon Most home deliveries are carried out using our smaller transit sized vehicles for easy access although we do deliver some orders on our lorry so please specify if you have tight access. We maintain a daily delivery schedule to cover South Devon & East Cornwall. Our usual lead time is 48hrs from time of order Monday to Friday. Evening and Saturday deliveries may be available on request.

Hiab Lorry Deliveries Topsoil in Dumpy Bags

Most dumpy bags are delivered with our large crane lorry. You must be sure that you have suitable access before ordering. Each dumpy bag is filled to the brim and contains at least 730 litres of soil, approximately 1 ton. Check delivery access.

Covering Devon and East Cornwall Restricted Access Areas

We operate a smaller 7.5 ton lorry which is equipped with a Hiab Crane. This Lorry is suitable for deliveries where access is restricted. Please note that this lorry has not got a high reach on the crane, meaning it cannot reach over any high walls or fences, however it can be craned onto driveways and over smaller walls, please call to discuss your deliver requirements.

Plymouth and Torbay restricted access

Our 7.5 ton lorry has the capability of delivering bulk bags of south Devon turf’s blended loam topsoil, each dumpy bag is filled to the brim and contains at least 730 litres of soil, approximately 1 ton. It also can carry up to 200m2 of turf. Unfortunately, it cannot carry any soil in a loose load however we do have other vehicles that can, please feel free to call us for more information.

Site Delivery

If you are working on site and access is sufficient, site delivery may be carried out using one of our larger vehicles. Please feel free to call us if you wish to arrange a site delivery and discuss which lorry would be best for the job.

Devon Cornwall Turf Deliveres

Distribution Deliveries

The Turf is delivered with a curtain sided lorry that will require suitable access. Please see our photos and seek advice if you are unsure if the lorry can get to your location. Once the delivery has arrived, the turf will be unloaded by off the rear of the vehicle by a tail lift and then a pallet dolley.

Minimum Order Quantity

We have a minimum order requirement of £120.00 on our Transit's or £132.00 on our crane lorry that we use to deliver the dumpy bags. Orders of substantial quantity may be subject to discounted delivery rates.

Please note that our deliveries are strictly off the side of the vehicle and will not be carried in.
