South Devon Turf - Terms & Conditions

1. Full payment for all goods must be received before delivery by BACS, credit or debit card.
2. All goods remain the property of South Devon Turf until paid for in full.
3. South Devon Turf reserve the right to refuse orders or cancel orders from any customer for any reason without prior notice.
4. Delivery is strictly to the kerbside. Any customer or person acting on behalf of a customer that requests that a South Devon Turf vehicle should leave the public highway to make delivery shall be responsible for any damage caused to their property or any 3rd party property.
5. If a South Devon Turf vehicle is requested to leave the public highway, South Devon Turf will be responsible for any damage caused to the delivery vehicle however if the delivery vehicle becomes stuck due to lack of traction, It will be the customers responibility to return the delivery vehicle to the public highway.
6. If the customer keeps the delivery vehicle waiting, the customer will be responsible for paying an hourly charge for the vehicle and driver. 3.5ton vehicles are £35.00+vat per hour. All HGV vehicles are £50.00+vat per hour. All waiting times are charged to the nearest 15 minute period.
7. Delivery times may be given as guide times but South Devon Turf will not be liable for costs incurred from late deliveries.
8. When ordering goods from South Devon Turf, the customer accepts to grant access to their property to recover any goods that are not paid for.
9. Prices quoted on the website may be subject to an additional delivery charge. South Devon Turf will confirm a final delivered price before delivery.
10. Customers must check all goods are satisfactory on delivery and before the delivery driver leaves.
11. Any complaint must be made within 24hrs by email to sales@southdevonturf.co.uk
12. If the customer is not satisfied with the goods after the delivery driver has left, it will be the customers responibility to return the products to the nearest depot.
13. We do not guarantee turf free of naturally occurring grasses but use all possible cultural practices to minimise them.
14. We don not guarantee turf free of pests but use all possible natural practices to minimise them.
15. The turf harvester is set to cut 1m2 rolls but due to the swing of the chopping blade, the rolls length can vary slightly from roll to roll. For this reason, we provide at least 1 roll extra per order and more on large orders.
16. We will not take back unused bulk bag products, with or without a refund due to the cost of haulage exceeding the value of the product.
